Mrs. Cora A. Metzger, 80, of Mulberry route 1, died Saturday at 8:20 p. m., her death resulting from complications following a 10-day illness.
A native of Clinton county, she was born Sept. 25, 1878, the daughter of Allen J. and Louise (Samuels) Troxel. She was married to Ira Metzger, a former Ross township trustee, on Oct. 3, 1903; he died June 7, 1948.
Mrs. Metzger was a member of the Rossville Church of the Brethren and lived her entire life in the Ross township community.
Surviving are two sons, Ralph A. Metzger, a Clinton county commissioner, of Mulberry route 1, and Glen H. Metzger of Mulberry; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Krammes of Frankfort and Mrs. Pearl Neher of Los Angeles, Calif., and two grandchildren.
