Another of earth's good mothers passed into eternity, Monday, at her home a mile and a half west of Moran, when Mrs. Mary (Troxell) Gochenour, wife of Isaac Gochenour, died. She had been ill five weeks of diabetes, with complications, including an infected foot.

The deceased woman was the second of Allen and Louise Troxell's nine daughters, the eldest having been Clara, the deceased wife of P. J. Beisel.

Mary Troxell was born on a farm five miles southeast of Rossville, on February 3, 1866. On November 18, 1886, she was united in marriage with Isaac Gochenour, and they lived all their married lives on the farm in the same neighborhood. Three children were born to the couple: Harry Gochenour, Mrs. Edith Beisel, and Mrs. Iva Short.

The deceased was a member of the Rossville Brethren church. Rev. Walter Replogle, pastor of that church, conducted the funeral service at the home Wednesday afternoon, and the burial was in the Rossville cemetery.
