Mrs. Eva House was a daughter of Allen J. and Louisa Troxell and was born in the Pleasant Hill community on November 10, 1871. She was married to Lloyd House October 29, 1891. She lived her entire life in Clinton and Tippecanoe counties. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed church of Mulberry.
Surviving are the husband; two sons, Maurice House of Lafayette and Russell House of Lafayette route 4, and one daughter, Mrs. William Beeler, of Lafayette route 5. There are five grandchildren. She also leaves one brother, Emerson Troxell of Frankfort, and four sisters, Mrs. William Gangwer of Scircleville, Mrs. Ira Metzger of Mulberry route 1, Mrs. Ezra Neher of Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. Roy Krammes of Frankfort route 6. Four sisters preceded Mrs. House in death.
The last rites were held at the Trinity church Wednesday afternoon, with Rev. Robert L. Hegnauer officiating. Interment was at Fair Haven.
