Betty, age 81, passed away at Stormont-Vail Medical Center in Topeka, Kansas. She was the daughter of George and Sadie (Scott) William. She married Joseph "Joe" Mallon on May 2, 1955, at the Seven Dolors Catholic Church in Manhattan, Kansas.

Survivors include her children, Virginia Mallon, Joanna Mallon, Joseph Mallon, Eugene Mallon, Richard Mallon, George Mallon, Gerald Mallon, John Mallon, and Dean Mallon, her sisters, Rose Mathieu and Lois Gerry, 16 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 7 brothers, 3 sisters, and 1 grandchild.

Graveside services were held at St. Patricks Cemetery in Ogden, Kansas.
