WHITE, JOSEPH CHARLES SR., age 79, of Louisville, Kentucky, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2006. He was a native of Marion County, KY, and was a retired property claims manager for Allstate Insurance Company where he worked for 33 years. He was a member of St. Martha's Catholic Church, the American Legion, and Bullitt County Coon Hunters Club and a marine veteran. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, the former Mary Hagan White; sons, Joe White (Karen), Jim White and Billy White (Julie); a daughter, Anna Menges (Brian); grandchildren, Ashley, Rebecca and Molly White, Kara and Kassidy Menges and Charlie White; a sister, Elizabeth Mudd; a brother, William White (Betty Ann) and many nieces and nephews. Funeral mass will be celebrated 10 a.m. Saturday, December 30th, at St. Martha Catholic Church, 2825 Klondike Lane, with burial in Resthaven Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 2-8 p.m. Friday at Ratterman & Sons, 3800 Bardstown Road, where a prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. Expressions may take the form of contributions to St. Xavier Student Aid Fund or your charity of choice.
