MRS. MARTHA FLORA WHITE, 78, widow of Tom White, died Friday morning, June 15, at a nursing home in Hardin County. A Washington County native, she was a daughter of Sam and Catherine Carrico Smith. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Charles Mudd, Radcliff; Mrs. Aline Kirkpatrick and Miss Eva White, Louisville; three sons, Roy White, St. Mary; Charles White, Louisville, and Adrian White, on duty with the U.S. Air Force in Italy, and a sister, Sister Mary Ignatius, Columbus, Ohio. The body was brought to Bosley Funeral Home. Funeral services were conducted at 9:30 a.m., last Monday at St. Charles Church by the Rev. Hubert Hagan. Burial was in the church cemetery. Pallbearers were Lee and Michael Kirkpatrick, Joseph and Thomas Ray White, Francis and Ignatious Mudd.

Buried in St. Charles Cemetery, St. Mary, Ky. Section D, Card 41, # 98. The book about St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Cemetery by Gerald Thompson, states that her marker has the inscription: "Martha F. White b. 11-05-1883 - d. 6-15-1962."
