Shirley A. (nee Clow) Darby, age 71, of Olney formerly of Aurora, IL passed away Sunday, January 7, 2007 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN. She was born July 31, 1935 in Olney, IL to Joseph Sr. and Pauline (Stivers) Clow. She married Roy Darby on August 12, 1961 in Olney. Shirley worked as a waitress and was a homemaker. She was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church in Oswego, IL.

Survived by her husband, Roy Darby of Olney; one daughter, Donna S. (David) Richardson of Big Rock, IL; one son, Bobby "Dunn" (Rhonda) Darby of Aurora, IL; four brothers, Henry (Bev) Clow of Olney, Joe (Karen) Clow of Olney, Kenneth (Trish) Clow of Dalton City, IL and David (Doreen) Clow of Joliet, IL; four sisters, Betty (Walter) Cox of Lake Port, CA, Patsy (Fred) Kufleitner of Alliance, OH, Edith (Willie) Polk of Olney and Linda (Tom) Horn of Olney; four sisters-in-law, Trella Clow of Olney, Gladys Clow of Olney, Shirley Clow of Florida and Mary Clow of Nevada; and five grandchildren, Loryn, Michael and Kevin Richardson, Steven and Jeremy Pena.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and four brothers, Jim, Paul, Bill and Richard.

Funeral Service wil be at 1:00 PM, Thursday, January 11, 2007 at Sunmmers-Kistler Funeral Home, 205 East Elm St., Olney, IL 618-395-4343. Officiating Pastor Brett Best. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Wednesday, January 10, 2007. Cremation to follow services. Memorials can be made out to the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois.
