Richard E. "Dick" Clow, 58, of Olney died at 12:25 p.m. Tuesday, December 17, 2002 at Richland Memorial Hospital in Olney.

Services at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Ted Kemp officiating. Burial will be in Crest Haven Cemetery near Claremont.

Mr. Clow was born on November 13, 1944 in Centralia, the son of Joseph Franklin and Pauline (Stivers) Clow. He married Trella Leaf on March 8, 1967. She survives.

He retired from maintenance with the City of Olney after more than 30 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Olney and Eagles Lodge.

Mr. Clow is survived by his wife, Trella Clow of Olney; a daughter, Tina Clow of Olney; a son, Chip Gurley of Decatur; three step-sons, Larry Leaf of Olney, Jeff Leaf of Olney and Tom Leaf of Las Vegas, Nev.; two step-daughters Judy Swinson of Olney and Julie Leaf of Evansville, Ind.; five brothers, Bill Clow, Henry Clow and Joe Clow all of Olney, Kenneth Clow of Dalton City and David Clow of Joliet; five sisters, Linda Horn of Olney, Edith Polk of Olney, Patsy Kufleitner of Alliance, Ohio, Shirley Darby of Elburn and Betty Cox of Lake Port, Calif.; 12 grandchilden and five great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded In death by his parents, two brothers, Jim and Paul Clow and three step-sons Jonathon, Tony and Dan.
