MRS. ANNA GANTNER DIES AT HER HOME ON LEBANON AVENUE

Mrs. Anna Maria Gantner, 70, of 1018 Lebanon avenue, died at her home at 7:45 this morning after two years' illness due to diabetes.

She was born in Belleville September 7, 1862, a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Lill (nee Meyer) and married George Gantner here in 1880. He preceded her in death January 28, 1920.

She is survived by a son, William Gantner, Belleville; five daughters, Mrs. M.E. Baquet, Mrs. Henry Epple, Miss Emma Gantner, all of Belleville; Mrs. A.E. McCann, East St. Louis; Mrs. Josephine Fisher, Maplewood, Mo; three brothers, Frank Lill, Belleville, Joe Lill, Clayton, Mo.; John Lill, St. Louis; a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Miller, New Athens; three grandchildren: Kathryn Epple, M.H. Baquet, Bernice Baquet.

Funeral services will be held from the home to St. Teresa's Catholic church where the Very Rev. Father William Hoff will officiate at a Requiem Mass. Burial will be in the Green Mount cemetery.

The body will lie at the Renner Schneider chapel until tomorrow afternoon when it will be removed to the home.
