Mrs. Elizabeth Susanne Epple, 51, of 901 Lebanon avenue, died at 7 a.m. today after an extended ailment.
She was born here, Oct. 17, 1885, a daughter of George and Anna (Lill) Gantner. Her father was born in France, her mother in Belleville.
She married Henry Epple here, Sept. 27, 1913. He is a stove mounter.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Miss Kathryn, at home, and four sisters and a brother: Anna, wife of A.E. McCann, East St. Louis; Miss Emma Gantner, 901 Lebanon avenue; Lena, wife of Matthew Baquet, 101 La Salle street; Josephine, wife of William Fisher, St. Louis, and William Gantner, 1001 LaSalle street.
The body will lie in state at the Pete Gaerdner funeral home after 10:30 tomorrow morning. The funeral will be held at 8:45 Friday morning from the Gaerdner chapel with services at nine o'clock at St. Teresa's Catholic Church. Interment will be made in Green Mount Cemetery.
