Mr. Nicolaus Trester died Tuesday morning at St. Nicholas Hospital, after a short illness, at the age of 30 years and 4 months. Mr. Trester suffered from headaches for about 4 weeks. The doctor admitted his patient to St. Nicholas Hospital with a brain inflammation, where he could be treated in peace and quiet. His condition grew worse from day to day, death came on Tuesday morning. Mr. Trester is the son of Mr. Carl Trester, who lives on the corner of Huron Ave. and N. 11th Street. He was born on January 17, 1867 in Sheboygan. After finishing school he became an apprentice in the print shop of the "National Democrat". He became a typesetter, though later he dedicated himself to a different profession. Mr. Trester married Miss Helena Schwindling. The marriage was blessed with 5 children, the oldest 9, the youngest 6 months. He leaves behind, along with his sorely tried wife and children, his parents and a number of brothers and sisters. The burial will take place tomorrow (Friday) morning, 8 a.m., after the funeral Mass in the Church of Holy Name and the Catholic cemetery of North Side. The deceased was a member of the St. Boniface Society, whose members will take part in the funeral. Furthermore he was a member of the Crocker Aide and Benefit Society.
