Cecile was a mother to three boys even though she never married. She was a good mother despite losing two of her children throughout her earlier years. She had many of her friends that would tell you the same you could walk into her home day or night as it was always spotless. She loved doing crafts and working flee market or booth style tables and continue to do it through out her whole life as she was unable to work at a pace to keep up on a job as well as others could. She has practically lived in nearly every town in South Louisiana and most knew her by seeing her walk or riding her bike where ever she wanted to go. She may not have lived her life the way everyone wanted her to but she did live it her way. She loved the Mardi Gas and seafood So even when she left Louisiana. She would find a way to go back home quite often. She never felt like she had the love of her mother or family and she clung to others. We tried to help her to take good paths in life and was all we could do. She had to be the one to make her own decisions. And she did in my opinion succeed in doing the things she wanted to do. Sadly she passed at a time when we were not on speaking terms. My sister would take to her own attitude if she did not agree or she felt you were over stepping your boundaries with her, she would block you out of her life until she was ready to let you back in. That day had not come with in the last three years of her life. I couldn't believe she past much less knowing she was so sickly. Her passing the way she did will always sadden my heart and I hope when we meet again to tell her just how much I loved her.
