MRS. MINNIE PRUITT
Vanceburg, Ky. - Mrs. Minnie Pruitt, 84, died at 10 a.m. Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Vernon Liles, of Garrison Rt. 3 after an extended illness.
Mrs. Pruitt was a native of Carter County, Ky., and was a widow of Hiram Pruitt, who died in 1959.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Liles of Garrison Rt. 3 and Mrs. Rebecca Kimbler of London, Ohio; four sons, Albert and Denny Pruitt, both of London, Hiram Pruitt Jr. of Bucyrus, Ohio, and Harry Pruitt of Garrison; 33 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Mrs. Pruitt was a member of the Bivens Chapel Church, where funeral services are to be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. John Maggard of Oak Hill officiating. Interment will be in Warring Cemetery at Garrison under direction of Dickerson Funeral Home in Vanceburg.
