(Sept.?) 7, 1868, Andrew filed for an invalid's pension. In 1870, the couple lived in Olathe with their her daughter Eliza Anderson and her one-year old granddaughter Zella Anderson. Andrew died in 1877; on March 11, 1878, his widow filed for a pension due for his military service. E. G. Bridges supplied the military headstone for Andrew and a contract to provide it was dated Nov. 29, 1879.
