The remains of the late Mrs Matilda Temple, of Albury-road, Wagga, and relict of the late John Temple, arrived by mail train on Saturday morning last from Sydney accompanied by
her son. Mr. James Temple, and her daughter, Mrs. James Stearman. The funeral to the cemetery was a long and representative one and contained relatives and friends from Sydney, Young, Ganmain, Oura and Wagga.
There was a number of beautiful floral tributes sent.The interment took place in the Church of England portion of the cemetery. The pall-bearers at the station and cemetery were Messrs; William, Joseph, and Alexander Temple (sons of deceased), Wm. Stearman, Jas. Stearman, jun., and G. Watson, grand-sons of deceased. Canon Carver officiated at the grave-side.
