The death occurred in Wagga yesterday afternoon of a very old resident, Mrs. Sarah Jane Stearman, of Urana road, Turvey Park, at the age of 77 years. She was a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Temple, and came from Ireland to Wagga when very young, residing in Wagga till her death.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. James Stearman, of Wagga, and five sons, Messrs. James Stearman, of Wagga; William, of Hillston; George, Thomas and Henry Stearman of Wagga; two daughters, Mrs. Arthur Thomas, of Melbourne; and Mrs. James Fryer, of Parkes; six brothers, Messrs. William, James, Alexander and John Temple, of Wagga; and Joseph and Thomas Temple, of Uranquinty; and one sister, Mrs. A. Mowser, of Sydney.
The funeral will take place to-day, the cortege leaving St. John's Church of England at 3 p.m for the Wagga cemetery.
