Mr. William Temple, of Urana Street, Wagga, died at the Base Hospital yesterday morning. He was a great lover of horses, having in his earlier days owned and operated a waggon team and later owned thoroughbred racehorses. He also took a keen interest in gold mining activities.
He is survived by four brothers, Messrs. James (Wagga), Joseph (Wagga). Thomas (Uranquinty), and Alex (Wagga). He was predeceased by four sisters and one brother. The funeral will take place this afternoon. The cortege will move from St. John's Church of England after a service at 3 o'clock.

The funeral of Mr. William Temple, of Urana Street, Wagga, whose death occurred at the Wagga Base Hospital on Friday morning, took place on Saturday Afternoon. The cortege moved from St, John's Church of England after a service conducted by the Ven. Archdeacon
West. The casket was carried by Messrs. Joseph Temple (brother), G. Watson (nephew), W. Watson (nephew), H. G. Whiting (nephew), J. Rynehart and W. Palmer, while the floral tray was in the care of Messrs. Thomas Temple (brother) and Thomas Stearman (nephew). Interment took place in the Church of England portion of the Wagga Cemetery, where the Archdeacon again officiated.
Relatives present were Messrs. James, Joseph, Alex and Thomas Temple (brothers), Mrs. Alex Temple (sister-in-law), Mrs. C. Temple, Mrs. J. Keating, Mrs. A. Thomas, Mrs. J. Fryer, Mrs. G. Watson, Mrs. H. Whiting and Mrs. W. Boyton (nieces), Messrs. W. Boyton, G, Watson,
J, Stearman and W. Watson (nephews), also many relatives and friends from Wagga and district. Mr. W. Stearman (nephew) was unable to be present.
The funeral arrangements were conducted by Alan Harris, of Wagga.
