Lois A. Crumrine, 85, of St. Paul, NE, died Sunday, December 31, 2017, at Brookefield Park in St. Paul, NE. Memorial service will be 11:00 AM Thursday, January 4, 2018, at Apfel Funeral Home in Grand Island. Burial will follow at the Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
Lois was born on January 23, 1932, at Archer, NE, the daughter of Herman and Lydia (Luebke) Kamper. She graduated from Grand Island Senior High School.
She was united in marriage to Lawrence G. Crumrine on February 27, 1953, in Grand Island. The couple made their home in Grand Island, where she was an accountant for their family-owned business, Bullet Weights, Inc. The couple moved to St. Paul, NE in 1985, where they remained.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, and other outdoor activities.
Survivors include: husband: Lawrence of St. Paul, NE; son: Douglas (Cindy) Crumrine of Cairo, NE; grandchildren: Joseph (Bea) Crumrine; Jill (Jason) Crumrine-Vasquez, Courteney (Neil) Wardyn all of Grand Island, Tyler (fiancé Timbre O’Neel) Crumrine of Burwell, NE; 15 great grandchildren; sister: Evelyn (Jess) James of Grand Island, sisters-in-law: Robyn Kamper of Grand Island, Clara Jo Lewis of Gresham, OR, Ann Crumrine of Ogallala, NE, and many nieces and nephews.
Lois was preceded in death by parents; son: Steven Crumrine; sister: Melva Kamper; brothers: Marvin, Donald, Robert, Lyle, and Jimmy Kamper.
