Lydia Kamper Dies At G.I. Hospital -
Mrs. Lydia M. Kamper, a resident of Grand Island, passed away Saturday in a hospital in that city.
Mrs. Kamper was born January 23, 1903 at Palmer, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman Luebke. She and Herman Kamper were married October 2, 1924 at Palmer and farmed near Palmer and St. Paul before moving to a farm near Grand Island in 1940. They moved into town in 1958. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran church.
survivors are her husband; Donald, Robert, Lyle and Jimmy Kamper, Mrs. Lois Crumrine and Mrs. Evelyn James, Grand Island and Miss Melva Kamper, Ft. Sam Houston, Texas; a brother Walter Luebke, Tacoma, Wash., a sister, Mrs. Rose Holtz, Tacoma and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son and three sisters.
