BRUCE, Ralph Coolidge, 93, of North Chesterfield, Va., entered the healing arms of the Lord on Saturday, February 24, 2018. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Nancy Frances Bruce; and parents, Harvey A. and Maggie Bruce. He is survived by his children, Wayne (Rosemary) Bruce, Lynn (David) Morano and Anne (Bob) Moseley; grandchildren, Amanda (Ben) Villhauer, Kelsey Bruce (Tito Orta), Lisa (Justin) Simon and Christopher Campbell; great-grandchildren, Nadia, Henry, Samuel, Maddie Rose and Josephine. For almost 94 years he served his God, his family and his country. He was a dedicated servant leader of his church and he was a WWII Navy veteran from 1943 to 1946. It is certain that he was told "well done, good and faithful servant" upon his arrival to his new home in Heaven. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 27, 2018, at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Rd. (Rt. 10). A Celebration of Life will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Walmsley Blvd. United Methodist Church, 2950 Walmsley Blvd. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 4240 Park Place Ct., Glen Allen, Va. 23060.
