Carl Ray Watson Sr.

Louisville - Watson, Carl Ray Sr., 86, passed away peacefully on May 24, 2018. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge # 942, retired from Ford Motor Truck Plant, and was a member of the UAW. Carl loved spending time with his family and friends, was an avid checker player, and enjoyed pitching horseshoes. He liked telling jokes, a member of the Christian faith, enjoyed gospel music, and singing hymns.

Carl was preceded in death by his loving wife of 68 years, Emogene M. Watson.

Left to cherish his memory are his children, Maida Jean League, Ruth Marie Goldsmith (Chuck), and Carl Ray Watson Jr. (Tammy); 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; siblings, Chester Watson, Dolly Taylor, and Joyce Clark (Riley); and he leaves behind several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Monday from 2 pm-8 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 2 pm at Evergreen Funeral Home Dignity Chapel with burial to follow at Evergreen Cemetery
