Mr. and Mrs. Rolfe moved to Maymont, Saskatchewan, Canada, about twenty-seven years ago, and still own their farm at that place. About three years ago they came back to the States and located at Roseburg, Oregon, where they have a home. They went to Canada in the later summer on business, connected with the harvesting and threshing of their wheat. Mrs. Rolfe suffered a heart attack about four weeks ago, but for a time was thought to be on the road to recovery.
Fannie (Hockett) Rolfe was born on a farm nine miles east of Plainville on January 19, 1887, and passed from this life on October 3, 1939, at Ruddell, Saskatchewan, Canada. Interment was made at Maymont, Saskatchewan.
She is deeply mourned and will be greatly missed by her relatives and friends.
