Ida A. Kaufman, age 91, of 4200 Calumet Ave., Manitowoc, died March 1, 2002 at Manitowoc Health Care Center.
Funeral services will be 11 am Monday, March 4, 2002 at Knollwood Memorial Park Chapel, town of Kossuth. Rev. Bruce Bitter and Rev. Waldemar Loescher will officiate. Burial will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, town of Kossuth.
Ida was born Nov. 1, 1910 in Newton, the daughter of the late Fredrick and Alvina Willert Grapentine. Ida married Andrew P. Kaufman in Manitowoc. He preceded her in death in 1972. She was a member of First German Evangelical Lutheran Church, Manitowoc.
Survivors include five children, Leonard Kaufman, Pottstown, Pa., Jerry and Dorothy Kaufman, Tidewater, Ore., Jeanette and Ken Knowles, Spring Green, Audrey and Joseph Wilson, Manitowoc, Warren Kaufman, Bakersfield, Cal., 15 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; a brother and sister-in-law, Walter and Sadie Grapentine, Manitowoc; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Kaufman, Plymouth; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Besides her parents and husband, Andrew, Ida was preceded in death by one son, Lloyd; one grandson, three brothers, Fred, William and Charlie; two sisters, Harriet and Adela and a daughter-in-law, May Jane.
Relatives and friends may call at Knollwood Memorial Garden Chapel, town of Kossuth on Monday, March 4, 2002 from 10 am until the time of service at 11 am.
