Frances Leanna (Kimble) Crites, age 87 of Petersburg, WV passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2019 at Grant Memorial Hospital in Petersburg, WV. She was born June 6, 1932 in Grant County, WV and was a daughter of the late Miles Perry Kimble and Cora Louise (Hise) Kimble.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin D. Crites on July 21, 1988; two sisters, Pauline Keplinger and Rosalee Thorne; three brothers, Donald Kimble, James "Wilkie" Kimble and Carl Kimble; four half-sisters, Ruby Borror, Katherine Ayers, Icie Ours and Delphia Champ; two half brothers, Kenny Kimble and Chester Kimble.

Frances is survived by one daughter, Nancy E. Lorenz of Petersburg, WV; two grandchildren, Linda Lorenz Kimble and husband Clinton Ray Kimble of Cabins, WV and Elaine Lorenz Wratchford and husband Ernest E. Wratchford of Petersburg; six great grandchildren; one sister, Wilma Lee Haggerty of Keyser, WV and two brothers, Roger Kimble of Rig, WV and Bobby Kimble of Petersburg, WV and numerous nieces and nephews.

According to Frances's wishes, her body will be cremated and all services will be private.
