Ila Faye Jagers' Funeral Conducted on Wednesday

Ila Faye Jaggers, a Madill resident since 1912, died Sunday evening in the Madill hospital following an extended period of ill health.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jagers were held Wednesday morning from Watts Memorial Chapel. Clifford Joines and Emmett Taylor officiated. Music was arranged by Johnnie Ruth Jacks.
Mrs. Jagers was born July 16, 1892, in Bonham, Texas. She resided there until moving to Madill. She and Walter Jagers were married here October 28, 1916. Mr. Jagers died October 21, 1972. She was a member of the Madill church of the Nazarene.
Her survivors include a brother, Glenn Benton, of Ravia; a sister, Lona Bell Hull of Archer City, Texas, and several nephews and nieces.
Casket escorts for services and burial in Woodberry-Forrest Cemetery were Tony Chaney, Phillip and Keith Gray, John H. Jones, Ronnie Gilmore and W.F. Rushing. Honorary escorts, were Mason Howell, Victor Gray, Grady Adams, A.L. Adams and Weldon Flenniken.
