Services for Ralph D Benton, 84, of 3101 Miami, who died Sunday in Lubbock, Texas, will be at 2 pm Tuesday in Grant Street United Methodist Church.

The Rev Frank Yates will officiate and burial will be in Crestview Memorial Park under direction of Hampton-Vaughan Funeral Home.

Benton was born November 9, 1895, in Bonham, Texas. He was a retired employee of Texaco Oil Co., and an active member of the board of Grant Street United Methodist Church. Benton had been a resident of Wichita Falls for 35 years.

Surviviors include two daughters, Mrs. Kathleen Benton McFaul of Snyder, Texas, and Mrs. Norma Benton Barnett of Richardson, Texas; two sisters, Mrs. Lona Belle Hull of Archer City, Texas, and Mrs. Ila Jagers of Madill, Oklahoma; one brother, Glenn Benton of Borger, Texas; and four grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Charles Morrison, Walter Hill, John Culp, Wilbur Hearn, Morton Hearn and O.L. Wicks.
