Leona Lippencott Henderson, 78, of 805 North Richhill Street, Waynesburg, died at 12:30 p.m. Monday, April 16, 1984, in Greene County Memorial Hospital. She had not been in the best of health for some time.
She was born April 3, 1906, in Franklin Township near Waynesburg, a daughter of Nettie Lippencott Crayne.
With the exception of several years in California and Hawaii, she had resided most of her life in the Waynesburg area.
She was a Protestant.
Her husband, Otis Henderson, died May 4, 1974.
Surviving are two daughters, Sue Henderson of Waynesburg and Mrs. Loyce (Barbara June) Adams of Sacramento, Calif.; six grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. George (Lillian) Lippencott of Waynesburg R.D. 1; two brothers, Paul Crayne of Waynesburg R.D. 2 and Donald Crayne of Brownsville.
Two sons, Eddie and Bobby, and a brother, Herbert, are deceased. Interment: Greene County Memorial Park.
