Barbers Corners – The remains of Aaron Barber, a former resident of this place, who died at North Hannibal, Monday after an illness which had been thought serious only one day and which was pronounced by the coroner to have been an abscess on the brain, were brought to the home of his sister, Mrs. Hattie Thomas, Wednesday and the funeral was held Thursday at 2 p.m., Rev. C. W. Fifield officiating. Flowers were from Olean by Mrs. Chas. Crouse, a sister who was unable to come. Burial in Salmon River cemetery. Mr. Barber leaves a widow, a son, Willie, a daughter, Bessie, an aged father and mother and many other relatives. The relatives wish to express their thanks to the kind friends for the beautiful flowers furnished and for all the assistance rendered them during the death and burial of their loved one.
