Ninnie Lee Brown was born Wednesday, January 28, 1885, in Morgan County, Alabama, to Lewis Martin Brown and Martha Louise White Brown. ~ She married James Walter Roberts, a son of Robert Zachariah Roberts and Mary Elizabeth Hill Roberts on Sunday, January 27, 1901. ~ Ninnie L. Roberts

Funeral for Ninnie Lee Roberts, 98, of Route 3 Decatur will be Tuesday at 3:30 p.m. at Ridout Brown-Service Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. E.W. Harris and the Rev. Roy Roberts officiating.

Burial will be Johnson's Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 tonight at the funeral home.

Mrs. Roberts died Sunday at her residence. She was a member of the Methodist Church for 85 years. She was a life-long resident of Morgan County.

She is survived by three sons, John Earl Roberts, Emmett A. Roberts, and Ellis Eshcol Roberts, all of Decatur; two daughters, Edna Decatur of Dora and Esther Baker of Decatur; 24 grandchildren; 65 great-grandchildren; 16 great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will include grandsons and great-grandsons.
