Mrs. Ada Harp, 89. passed away suddenly on Friday night at the home of her daughter. Mrs. J. R. Kent, 1607 5th Ave So.
She is survived by her husband. B. F. Harp; six children. Mrs. Vesta Sams, Mrs. Emma Alford, Ellis Harp, both of Birmingham, Mrs. Pearl Hamilton, Hartselle, Mrs. Minnie Kent and Mrs. Ada Mae Alford.
Funeral services in charge of Rev. W. W. Aldridge and Rev. N. Moore will be held Sunday morning at 11:00 o'clock at Johnson's Chapel. The funeral cortege will leave the residence at 10:00 am.
Interment will be made Johnson's Chapel cemetery, McAfee-Howell and Young directing.
Mrs. Harp had been a devout member of the Methodist church since the age of fourteen, was active in church affairs and was held in affection by her friends and relatives. ~
