Thelma "Jackie" Creel, age 93 of Haleyville, Al, passed away on July 19, 2023.
Jackie loved her children and grandchildren. She had a love of gardening and sewing. She spent her time sewing for her family and friends. She always made sure you had something to eat when you visited. To know Jackie is to love her. She will be missed dearly.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Marshall and Ella Mae Pierce; husband, Eugene M. Creel; and brothers and sister.
Thelma is survived by son, Steven Creel (Sandy); daughters, Mary C. Norkey, and Charlotte C. Lewter; sister, Heloise Jones; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Friday, July 21, 2023, 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home in Adamsville, AL.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, 11:00 am at Crestview Funeral Home, Adamsville, AL.
The family would like to send a special thanks to the staff at UAB Palliative Care and New Beacon Hospice.
Burial will take place in the Crestview Memorial Gardens.
