Franklin Delano Pierce, 68, of Haleyville died Tuesday, Aug. 27, 2002.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 29, 2002, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville with burial in Winston Memorial Cemetery. Dick Pierce will officiate. Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville is directing.
Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, Aug. 28, 2002, at Pinkard Funeral Home in Haleyville.
He was a member of South Haleyville Missionary Baptist Church and served in the Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ella Mae Pierce.
He is survived by four children, Robert D. Pierce and his wife, Nieta of Winfield, Shelia Diane Swims and her husband, Ronnie, Melissa K. Pierce and Melinda C. Pierce, all of Haleyville; three sisters, Jackie Creek of Adamsville, Doris Buchanan of Warrior and Heloise Jones of Double Springs; brother, Dick Pierce of Haleyville; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
