Rita Furgye, 93 of Mapleton, Illinois, died on November 4, 2021. She was born on July 12, 1928, in Henry, IL to Louis Glatz and Gertrude (Schmidt) Glatz.
Rita was a loving sister of Louis (Patricia) Glatz, Dorothy Shipton, Kate (Tony) Nudo, Paul (Lilian) Glatz, George Glatz, Joe (Ardeth) Glatz, Judy O'Donnell, Philip Glatz and Ted (Rose) Glatz, She was the mother of Donna Neff, Robin Godwin and Paul Glatz, grandmother of Kenneth (Cristina), Tracie, Andy, Stephanie, April, Ryan, Derrick and Rory. She was preceded in death by her Mother, Father, brothers Louis, George and Paul, sisters Dorothy, Kate and Judy, Son, Paul and Son-in-law, Harold.
She retired from Komatsu American in which she worked as an executive secretary. In leu of a service, her body will be donated to science and she will be placed to rest at Ascension Cemetery in Libertyville, IL.
