HARTFORD, JAMES DOUGLAS - At Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB, on November 24, 2002, James Douglas Hartford of Abbott Street, St. Stephen, NB. Son of the late Percy W. and Flora D. (McConvey) Hartford. Survived by his wife, Jean A. (Doten) Hartford, one son Phil (Joanne), two daughters, Brenda Amos (George), Darla Hartford (Gary Colford) all of St. Stephen, NB, grandchildren, Kristopher (Krista), Jana and Shelley Amos, Angela Adams (Chuck), Andrew Seamans (Karen), Meagan, Doug and Alicia Hartford, great grandchildren, Cassidy, Zachary, Gabriel, Josh, Abigale and Olivia, one sister, Berna Flynn of St. Stephen, one brother, Harold Hartford (Ethel) of Calais, Maine, several nieces and nephews. Resting at the S.O. Mehan & Son Funeral Home Ltd, 23 Main Street, St. Stephen, NB, from where funeral service will be held on Thursday November 28, 2002 at 2 PM with Rev. Boyce Martin officiating. Interment at St. Stephen Rural Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM and Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. In lieu of flowers, remembrances to the Shriners Hospital, Masonic Charities or charity of ones choice would be appreciated by the family.
