FLYNN, BERNA N. (HARTFORD) - 1926-2005 - Berna N. Flynn, 78, died unexpectedly on February 13, 2005, at her home in St. Stephen. She was born July 4, 1926, at St. Stephen, the daughter of Percy and Flora (McConvey) Hartford. She was predeceased by her husband, Frank Flynn in 1989; and a daughter, Cheryl Ann Flynn. She is survived by her brother, Harold "Shorty" Hartford and his wife, Ethel, of Calais; one son, Terry A. Poole of Calais; two daughters, Wendy E. Tuffy of New York and Cindy L. McNeil and her husband, Cliff, of Pennsylvania; four grandchildren, Tammy Poole and Dave, Shane and Kristen Tuffy, Devyn McNeil and Courtney McNeil; five great-grandchildren, Tiffany Poole, Cheyenne Menefee, Jacob Menefee, Gabrielle Menefee and McKenzie Tuffy; a special great-niece, Rosanne Dow and her husband, Russell; numerous nieces and nephews; and her special friends, Betty and Herman. She will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, at the Scott-Wilson Funeral Home, Calais. Funeral services will be conducted 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home by Pastor Bob Hinton. Burial will follow in Calais Cemetery. Donations in her memory to the American Heart Association; or the American Cancer Society, would be deeply appreciated.
