Walter T. Dorzweiler, 85, of Barrington, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2013. He was born May 17, 1927 in Menasha, Wisconsin to Alois and Rose (nee Walter) Dorzweiler.

On October 17, 1954 he married Doris Williams.

Walter was honorably discharged from the Army as a 2nd Lieutenant after 3 years of service. After spending 4 years at the University of Wisconsin, he was with Kimberly-Clark for 15 years in sales. He then owned Lawn Equipment Distributers of Barrington for 15 years. Following this he remained in sales in the packaging industry.

Walter is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Doris; his five daughters, Martha (Kevin) Finnegan, Betsy Danza, Mary (Jack) Weil, Christina (Thomas) McDonagh III, and Clare (Marc) Michelotti;

grandchildren, Daniel (Erin) Finnegan, Katie Finnegan, Shane Finnegan, Isabelle Finnegan, Josephine Finnegan, Jennifer (Cri) Mergozzi, Brian Danza, Kimberly (Paola) Longo Borghini, Stephanie Danza, Emily Danza, Gregory Danza, Eric Weil, Mark Weil, Lauren Weil, Thomas McDonagh IV, Reed McDonagh, Shannon McDonagh, Valentina Michelotti, Jake Michelotti, Maximilian Michelotti, and Marc Michelotti;

great-grandchildren, Anna Longo Borghini, Marta Longo Borghini, Sebastian Mergozzi, and Pippa Finnegan; sister, Patricia Lotzer; and brother, Robert Dorzweiler.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Helen Wenzel; and brothers, Elmer, William, George, Donald, John, Harold.

A visitation for Walter will be held Friday, April 12, 2013 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., Davenport Family Funeral Home, 149 West Main St (Lake-Cook Rd) Barrington, IL 60010. A short visitation will be available prior to Mass. The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m., April 13, St. Anne Catholic Church, 120 Ela St., Barrington, IL 60010. Burial will be private.
