Patricia Jacobson died Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at Community Option Living in Monroe, Wisconsin where she had lived since 2018. Patty was born in Mineral Point, Wisconsin on March 2, 1930 to Ernst and Paulina (Sturzengger) Willborn.

Patty spent most of her early years living with older siblings and the Disrud family of the Argyle area, having lost both of her parents at a very young age. She graduated form Monroe High School in 1948. She married Earl Jacobson after high school and they started a family, but were later separated. Patty lived in Monroe the rest of her life, where she worked at Swiss Colony Bakery for 40 years, retiring in 2003.

She enjoyed traveling and visited Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Ireland, Mexico, and spent time traveling the U.S. Patty loved flowers, visiting with friends and family on the phone, and taking walks. A dedicated friend to many and a loving sister, aunt, mom, and grandma who was always there to help in times of need. Patty greatly enjoyed her grandchildren and loved spending time with them and helping them whenever they needed her. No one could stop by her house without sitting down for coffee and she always preferred a good hamburger to any fancy restaurant meal.

Patty will be fondly remembered and greatly missed by many, including her children, Sharon (Tom) Eisch, Monroe, David (Lea) Jacobson, Argyle. Grandchildren, Todd (Michele) Eisch, Albany, Joe (Mandy) Eisch, Albany, Robert Jacobson, Monroe, Jesse Jacobson (Kelsey Wickwire), St. Agnatius, MT, Kate (Jordan) Hipenbecker, McFarland. Six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. Sister, Emma Wenger, Argyle, and brother: John Willborn, Mount Horeb. Many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and by three sisters, Hulda Disrud, Lena Ligman, Alice Gerber and six brothers, Ernest, Richard, Rudy, William, Lester, and Herman Willborn.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at Argyle Funeral Home (801 Milwaukee St., Argyle) with Rev. Mark Gilberts officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery.
