Harlan Ethel, 87, of Ligonier, died today at the Strawberry Village Nursing Home. Born Jan. 1, 1892 in Williams County, Ohio, she was the daughter of Silas and Mary (Hossinger) Herron. In 1912 she married Ray Harlan, who died in 1968. Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Davis (Opal) Newman of Niles, Mich., Mrs. George (Violet) Noble of Pierceton, Mrs. Frieda Hudson of Elkhart, and Mrs. Leonard (Mildred) Addis of Wawaka; three sons, Laurel of R. 2, Ligonier, Carl of Miller's Merry Manor in LaGrange, and Bernard of Goshen; 21 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren. Funeral will be Friday in Ulrey Funeral Home in Ligonier. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery
