Harlan Bernard L, 62, of 70 W. Plymouth Ave., Goshen, was dead on arrival Tuesday at Goshen Hospital. He was born in Albion July 6, 1917 to Roy and Ethel (Herron) Harlan. He married Lillian Cicio Dec. 24, 1945 in Goshen. He had lived in Goshen the past 35 years and had been employed by the Goshen City Street Dept. for 20 years before his ill health forced him to retire in 1977. Surviving in addition to his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Edward (Sue) Sponaugle of Romana, Calif.; a son, Bernard L. Jr. of Goshen; four sisters, Mrs. George (Violet) Noble of Pierceton, Mrs. Leonard (Mildred) Addis, Wawaka, Mrs. Fred Hudson of Elkhart, and Mrs. Davis (Opal) Newman of Niles, Mich.; and two brothers, Laurel of Ligonier, and Carl of LaGrange. Funeral will be Friday in the First Baptist Church in Goshen. Burial, Violett Cemetery, Goshen
