He was born March 23, 1923 in Noble County to Roy and Ethel (Herron) Harlan. Surviving are a sister, Violet Noble of Pierceton. Three brothers, Laurel, Lee and Bernard; and 3 sisters, Mildred Addis, Opal Newman and Freida Hudson, preceded him in death. Services Saturday at Ulrey-Renner Funeral Home. Burial, Christian Chapel Cemetery
