Obituary--PAINTSVILLE HERALD, December 1996, LEON F. TRIMBLE: Leon F. Trimble, 75, of Oil Springs, died Saturday, December 7, 1996. He was born September 8, 1921, in Oil Springs the son of Newton Trimble and Ethel Rice. He was raised by his grandparents, Dr. Grant and Sina Rice of Oil Springs, Kentucky. His mother had passed away at such a young age, and he was taken in by his grandparents. He was preceded in death by both parents. He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Navin and Donald Bert Trimble. He is survived by his wife, Joan Trimble, son, Delbert L. Trimble of Cincinnati; 1 daughter Diana L. Kearns of Durham, California, 1 granddaughter Krystle Lili Kearas of Durham, California, stepmother Mary Gartin of Chillicothe, three stepsisters, Joyce Ross of Chillicothe, Jean Ball of Ashland, Carol Williams of Morehead, several nieces and Nephews. Services were December 13 at The Ware Funeral Home in Chillicothe, Ohio. Burial was in the Rowland Memorial Cemetery in Chillicothe, Ohio.
