Former Johnson County resident, Donald B. Trimble, 63, of Chillicothe, OH, died Thursday, May 6 in Medical Center Hospital. Mr. Trimble was born January 11, 1930 in Johnson County, the son of the late Newton and Ethel Rice Trimble. Due to the early death of his mother he was reared by his grandparents, the late Dr. and Mrs. Grant Rice of Oil Springs. He was a retired corrective therapist from the Chillicothe V. A. Medical Center, was a member of American Legion Post 757, AmVets Post 4 and attended the Chillicothe Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Dean Alan in 1964; and his brother, Nevin Rice Trimble, in 1980. Surviving are his wife, Ernestine Trimble; one daughter, Donna Cook of Chillicothe; one brother, Leon Trimble of Hyde Park, NY; three sisters, Joyce Ross of Chillicothe, Doris Ball of Flatwoods and Elma Williams of Morehead; one granddaughter, Kelsey Cook; an uncle, Carl Rice of Oil Springs; and his stepmother, Mary Gartin of Chillicothe. Funeral services were held May 10 in the Ware Funeral Home in Chillicothe, with Rev. John Burris officiating. Burial was in Rowland Memorial Cemetery in Chillicothe.
