Obituary for June Abbott
June Abbott, mother to Ron Nunley, Dan Nunley and Terri Zarzuela, passed away on September 16th, 2023 after a short battle with Cancer. Her final moments were spent peacefully in her home in Sweetwater, surrounded by family.
Known for her personality trait of being a grandma to all kids and spending all her time with her 2 sisters, cooking and baking. June will be dearly missed by all who knew her. June's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life not the sadness of her passing.
She is survived by sisters: Louise Lowe, Evelyn Howard, Diane Patterson and brother Wes Lonas and wife Barb, along with James, Courtney, Thomas and Lilly Henry, Jena Carrington and Family and numerous other Grandkids, Great Grandkids and Great-Great Grandkids. Preceded in death by her husband: Adriel Eugene Abbott, son: David Nunley, parents: Arthur and Pearl Lonas, brothers: James, Roy, and Carroll Lonas, sister: Katherine "Kat" Emerson Walker.
A ceremony will be held at Kyker's Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, September 21, 2023 at 7:00P.M. with Rev. Sam Loy and Pastor: Darrell Griffis officiating. The family will receive friends there on Thursday from 5:00P.M. until 7:00P.M. Interment 10:00 A. M. Friday morning in the Sweetwater Memorial Park.
