Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral services on Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Interment in Shaffer’s Church Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 7 to 9.

Bert M. Kessler Of Near Jefferson Dies
Jefferson – Bert M. Kessler, 82, former state department of highways workman for 29 years, died yesterday at 12:55 a.m. at his home, Spring Grove RD 2, near here. Death resulted from a stroke suffered three weeks ago.
Kessler, who was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and POS of A Lodge, both of here, retired from the highway department May 10.
Surviving are: His wife, Mrs. Susan Trump Kessler; five children, Fred Allen, John H., and Willis G. Kessler, all of Spring Grove; Mrs. Gertrude Kessler Neff, 116 South Duke Street, York; and Curvin A. Kessler, Codorus; seven grandchildren; six great grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Hattie Senft, Spring Grove; and Mrs. Laura Gladfelter, Atlanta, Ga., and a brother, John Kessler, York RD.
Rev. Dr. K. S. Ehrhart, pastor of Jefferson Lutheran charge, will officiate at funeral services tomorrow at 2 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Interment will be in Shaffer’s Church Cemetery.
