GLADFELTER - On March 30, 1976, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis E. Gladfelter, Brodbecks RD 1, Laura E. Kessler Gladfelter, widow of C. Luther Gladfelter, aged 93 years, 11 months, 29 days.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Interment in Zion (Shaffer's) Church Cemetery, near Seven Valleys.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday evening from 7 to 9.

BRODBECKS – Mrs. Laura E. Kessler Gladfelter, wife of the late C. Luther Gladfelter, who would have been 94 years old today, died Tuesday at 9:40 a.m. at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Curtis E. Gladfelter, Brodbecks RD 1, where she resided the past 15 years.
A lifelong resident of the Brodbeck area, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Marie Rohrbaugh Kessler, and was the last of a family of 10 children.
She belonged to the Lutheran Congregation of Zion (Shaffer's) Union Church.
Surviving are: Three children, Curtis E. Gladfelter, with whom she resided; Daniel E. Gladfelter, Glen Rock RD 3; Mrs. Jennie R. Kornbau, Red Lion RD 2; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren and a foster stepson, William Garrett, Spring Grove RD 2.
Her minister, the Rev. William H. Beck, will officiate at the funeral on Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Geiple Funeral Home, Glen Rock. Burial will be in Zion (Shaffer's) Church Cemetery.
