Erastus Crane, who resided near St. Bernice, Helt Township, died of old age on Friday last. He had been in feeble health for some time. The deceased was born in Vermont in 1804, and settled in this county in 1839, where he continued to reside up to the day of his death. He had been a member of the M.E. Church for many years, and was respected by all who knew him. He was 77 years of age.
