OBITUARY
MR. H. T. BEATTIE
An old resident of the district, in the person of Mr. Henry Thomas Beattie, died in the District Hospital on the 19th instant, at the age of 75 years. Deceased had been employed in and around the district for many years.
He is survived by a widow, one son (Frank) and one daughter (Mrs. Brown, of Rosehill, Sydney).
Two sons, (Harry and Clarrie) were killed on active service. Frank was also on active service. Another son, Charles, was killed in a mine here many years ago, and another son, Alfred, died about 12 months ago.
The remains were interred in the Methodist portion of the Wyalong Cemetery on Tuesday, the Rev. G. E. Evans officiating at the graveside. The funeral arrangements were conducted by Mr. Mills.
