Louis Anthony "Lou" Magliocco Sr., 90, of Pittsgrove passed away Monday, May 12, 2008, in the South Jersey Healthcare Elmer Hospital.
Louis was born in Philadelphia and raised in the Malaga section of Franklin Township. He was the son of the late Luigi and Maria (Baldino) Magliocco. He was employed by Saul's Dairy in Newfield, Palmonari's Bakery in Vineland, and became self-employed until his retirement in 2003.
He is survived by his wife, Marguerite; two sons, Louis and his wife Nancy of Egg Harbor Township, and Anthony and his wife Gloria of Malaga; a brother, James and his wife Janet of Newfield; a sister, Rita Pacifico and her husband Anthony of Pennsylvania; five grandchildren, Steven and his wife Yvonne of Sewell, Stephanie Conto and her husband Anthony of Vineland, Amy Faust and her husband Charles of Sicklerville, Michael of Malaga, and Mark of Pennsylvania; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Teresa Sylvester, Gaspare, John, Joseph, Eugene, Thomas (in infancy), Frank, and Elizabeth Jiannotti; as well as his late stepchildren, Marguerite Miller and Harry Guenther Jr.
His funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday in the St. Mary's Church, Malaga, where relatives and friends will be received from 9:30 to 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Walnut Road, Vineland.
Arrangements are by Pancoast Funeral Home of Vineland.
