Gene worked at the Ogden Egg Company for six years and then became a dairy farmer. He also drove a school bus for Weber County School District for 30 years.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Diane, of Warren; daughter, sons, 13 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Also surviving are four sisters, and brother-in-law.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his brother, William, two sisters, Marjorie and Helen, and three brothers-in-law, Eldon, Jay and John.
