Gene Thomas Wayment, was born July 25, 1939 in Ogden, a son of Chester T. and Thelma Thomas Wayment. Gene married Diane Meibos on June 24, 1960 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They raised their family in Warren.
Gene worked at the Ogden Egg Company for six years and then became a dairy farmer. He also drove a school bus for Weber County School District for 30 years.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Diane, of Warren; daughter, sons, 13 grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Also surviving are four sisters, and brother-in-law.
Preceding him in death were his parents, his brother, William, two sisters, Marjorie and Helen, and three brothers-in-law, Eldon, Jay and John.
