Hubert H. Alford, 72, died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 1997, at a Summerville nursing home.
He was born Oct. 23, 1924, in Horry County, a son of the late Ealie and Rhoda Rabon Alford.Mr.
Alford retired from Bird and Sons Roofing Co.
He was an Army veteran of World War II and a Baptist.
Survivors include a daughter, Josephine Hill of Goose Creek; three sons, Clayton Alford of Odessa, Texas, Wesley Alford of North Charleston and Gary Alford of Goose Creek.
